The Sinfonia gives three to four orchestral concerts per year usually at Holy Trinity Church, Hurstpierpoint BN6 9TS, but also at other concert venues in the Mid Sussex area, very often engaging soloists of world class standard.  Rehearsals for these concerts usually take place at the Adastra Hall in Hassocks, BN6 8QH, and also at other venues, on the four Sundays preceding each concert.

We also accompany the Ardingly Choral Society twice a year.  These concerts typically take place at St. Saviour's Chapel, Ardingly College and at The Dolphin Leisure Centre, Haywards Heath.

The Sinfonia employs the services of a professional conductor and leader.  Its members comprise professional instrumental teachers as well as very talented and experienced amateur players. New players are always welcome.  We are particularly keen to hear from string, brass and percussion players.  We suggest a minimum playing ability of at grade 7-8.
